This signed, mounted, limited edition print is made from one of my original oil paintings, created after a visit to the Cumbrian Lake District. The Langdale Pikes are some of the most recognisable mountains in the English Lake District. Over looking the beautiful valley of Little Langdale the mountains have a timeless quality about them. I was inspired to paint this picture after a day's walking over the top of Harrison Stickle (the main mountain in the background of the picture), Every step that I took seemed to lead me from one magnificent view to another. During the walk to the mountains I came across a little stream crossed by a tiny footbridge, the barns were on the opposite side of the stream. The minute I saw them I knew that I wanted to paint them.
This limited edition print is produced on high quality Hahnemuhle photo rag smooth paper with lightfast inks. The printed image size is: 318mm x 267mm.
The print is one out of an edition of 100 and is signed on the front.
